Serves 2 people
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup pasta
- 1 Cup broccoli florets
- 2 Tbsp all purpose flour (maida)
- 2 Cups milk
- Salt as per taste
- 1 Nutmeg
- 1 Cup cheddar cheese grated
- 2 Tbsp butter
Method:
- Boil the pasta in salt water and also broccoli (broccoli should be boiled only for 2 mins) and drain the water
- Mix the all purpose flour and milk so that no lumps are formed
- Take a container on heater add butter
- Once butter melts add the mixture (all purpose flour and milk mixture)
- Stir it continuously till it thickens
- Add salt as per taste, cheese and a nutmeg
- Cook it till cheese melts
- Place the pasta and broccoli in a microwave suitable container
- Pour the paste over pasta and broccoli and also spread the cheese over it
- Cook it in microwave till the cheese turns brown (approx 20 mins)
- Serve hot
