Cluster Beans Rice


Preparation time: 10 mins

Cooking time: 15 mins

Serves 3 people

Ingredients:

  1. 1 Cup basmati rice
  2. 10 to 15 cluster beans cut into small pieces
  3. 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  4. 1 Tbsp cumin seeds
  5. A cup of cabbage and capsicum finely chopped
  6. 2 Tbsp garam masala
  7.  2 Tbsp Oil
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. 1/2 Tbsp mustard seeds and turmeric powder
  10. Pinch of hing

Method

  • Take a container on heater add oil, once hot add mustard seeds, allow it to crackle.
  • Add cumin seeds , cluster beans, cabbage , green chilli , hing and capsicum
  • Cook it for 3 mins
  • Add 2 cups of water then add salt and garam masala
  • Bring it to boil and then add the uncooked rice to it
  • Cook the rice in a medium flame
  • Serve hot
