Green Peas Pulao


Ingredient:

  1. 1 Cup Basmati Rice
  2. 1/2 Cup Green Peas
  3. 2 Green chilli sliced into pieces
  4. 1 Onion finely chopped
  5. 2 to 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
  6. 1 Tbsp jeera
  7. 1 Tbsp ginger chopped
  8.  Salt as per taste
  9. 2 Tbsp Oil
  10.  Fresh coriander leaf chopped  to garnish

Method

  • Cook the rice and keep aside
  • Take a pan on a heater and add  oil and once oil is heated add mustard seeds and jeera
  • Add garlic and fry till they are done
  • Add onion and fry till they are golden brown
  • Add peas and green chilli  cook it for 2 mins
  • Add Salt and stir it well
  • Now mix the cooked rice well in the pan and garnish with coriander
  • Serve hot with any vegetable gravy or raita
